St. Stephen’s hospital has been committed to educational programmes right from its inception. Established in 1908 and founded by Ms. Alice Wilkinson, a pioneer and co- author to the constitution of the Nursing Council of India, we have one of the oldest Nursing Schools in the country. We have been training nurses since 1908 when we started training in the ‘B’ Grade nursing course and in 1952 started the ‘A’ Gtade Diploma course. In the year 2008, the School of Nursing was upgraded to a College of Nursing, and B.Sc (Hons) Nursing was started in the month of August 2008. It is affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University and duly recognized by Indian nursing council and Delhi Nursing Council with an intake of 50 students per year. Our Nursing course is conducted as per the Indian Nursing Council syllabus. The medium of instruction is English & duration of the course is four years.
